US students helping in Atsiekpoe and Vome
For the second time, a group of students from Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, Nebraska in the United States visited Atsiekpoe and Vome.
The group visited Ghana as part of their credit courses abroad. Photos of previous trips to Ghana can be found in their Ghana photo gallery.
The trip was organised through AEA (Academic Experiences Abroad). Leaders of this group were Kojo Allen and Cynthia Gooch. Tour organiser and guides for AEA where Nathan and Apollo Panou.
During their stay, the students painted the bathrooms of the Vome Methodist Junior High School. The villagers were very happy with their visit and helping hands, and the donation of the paint. A lot of paint was left and can be used to paint the walls of the school.
